4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

These hinges are very heavy and well built. I wanted hinges for a couple of 8 foot gates that we are building and wanted a hinge that would be strong enough to hold them up and also provide a smooth swing. I expected a lot from these hinges and got way more than I had hoped for. I was surprised that they were so well made. They have countersink holes for the provided screws. The screws seem pretty heavy duty too. The paint is thick and flawless. They were well packed to keep them from rubbing against each other and marring the paint. The swing is also smooth with no catching. I’m excited to get these installed. I know that they are exactly what I was looking for and I can tell from the finish that they will last a lifetime without having to be repainted.

Very rugged design for hinges.
The hinge pin and plates are both super heavy.
You can tell just holding these in your hands how solid they are.
I have great confidence these will hold up the heavy vertical barn doors on my garage with no issues.
The paint is also nice and smooth with full coverage so they’ll be protected from the elements for many years.
These get my highest recommendation!

The packaging was a thin plastic box that was damaged... The set came with 12 screws for 14 screw holes... Fortunately I only needed 12... The hinges appear to be a good value for the money and will do the job... Overall 4.5 out of 5...

Hinges are OK, but I wouldn't use these screws for ANYTHING. About 3/4 inch, useless

I used these hinges with the shed I'm building. They are heavy duty and were easy to install. I purchased separate hardware for the installation. I was able to buy the hinges, door handles, and closure all at the same time.

I used them for my chicken house I built. 3 on the right side for the nesting box lid and one for the front door flap. I was worried the screws would be too short to hold but they’ve held up so far. Heavy/seems durable enough to last awhile in the Texas heat/sun.

Showed up BENT and DAMAGED

Excellent quality T-hinge but the installation screws provided were too short for my application. These hinges were purchased as part of a client's shed door refabrication project and worked extremely well. The new shed door was constructed of treated lumber, and due to the moisture content of the wood, the weight was more than expected. The screws provided by the manufacturer were discarded, and the hinges were installed using 2½ inch Deckmate Star drive Coated Screws (see pic). When operated, the doors easily opened and closed without sagging. Although the screws were too short for my application, I would rate this product 5-star. They are well made, easily installed, and I highly recommend them!
