4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

Love the hinges. They easily support my 4 foot privacy gate. I hate the aluminum screws. They strip too easily if you use your drill to drive them. I would buy hinges again but would plan to have steel screws on hand for installation.

The hinge doesn’t open to a full 90 degrees. Can’t be mounted with the standard exposed hinge on the front. Had to flip it. Also came with screws that did not reach the rail. Just holding onto the pickets. Needs to be long enough to go into the rails and cross bracing. Had to buy longer screws. Don’t recommend this hinge. Cheap hardware and bad hinge design.

These hinges are great but they need longer screws. Unless you are using these hinges, primarily as decorative, you will need to purchase extra screws separately. These barely go through the door and catch into the wood. Other than that, they are well made and mid to heavyweight.

I wanted a camera to point through my garage door window, but wanted it to be able to give and move out of the way, and not break, in case we parked the truck in the garage. We normally do not park it on that side, but you never know.

This is stable, and hold the 18 inch 1x4 that I mounted the camera on very well. It doesn't sag. I used a bungy cord to keep the wind from moving it, but still allow it to move if necessary.

This hinge is heavy, well made, and thick steel. I have no doubt that holding a gate is what it was made for and it is well painted.

It's simple to install to the wood door.

This product is good, the price is fine. It is for patio doors. The only thing they can improve is that when assembled they feel a bit stiff. Other than that everything is perfect. I recommend it.
