4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

I purchased these hinges for a storage shed in my backyard. The last set of hinges sagged and eventually failed. These hinges are amazing. Each one weighs almost a pound. This time I wanted strong hinges so I selected a pair of 8-inch one. I think now that the 6-inch hinges would have been more than enough for a standard door. These hinges are a great value.

These sturdy hinges come at a great price point. The black coating is even and smooth. The holes are recessed so that the screws (included) can mount flush. The screws seem like good quality too. I screwed one to a board and put torque on the hinge to test the strength. It seems like it will do a great job holding up my shed doors and will give me years of good service.
Would recommend.

I bought these to add doors to a pellet grill enclosure I am building. These are perfect and will certainly hold the doors straight. I liked their look for what I am doing rather than the chrome ones you can get anywhere.

I have an exceptionally large double wooded gate. The "store brand" hinges from the big box store failed, after just under a year of use, which really surprised me...they felt like they were strong enough for the job, but...

These HILLMASTER hinges are the answer. Being able to buy a 6 pack makes a huge difference, let me tell you. They're thicker than the store's brand and sturdy. Supposedly rustproof also...? Sign me up! I haven't had them installed long enough to test that. I may revisit this review down the road if I have anything to report on that front.

These are not heavy duty. Could be used for a light garden gate but definitely not a heavy door. And to send them back costs more than the hinges themselves.

This product is not even close to the description. Really small and really thin, so not worth it. I would not buy these.

The fasteners supplied with the hinges are the wrong size. The head of the screws pass right through the hole in the hinge. Be prepared to purchase the hardware need to mount the hinges and good luck finding that hardware in black. The hinges themselves are quite loose on the pin so should not be used on a gate or door that requires any kind of a precise fit.
