4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

Used on a shed. Was over kill, but worked.

Bought for my chicken coop build. Easy to install, barn style look, sturdy.

While the amount of hinges for the price is a great deal, I would not call these "heavy-duty" and are more "light to medium weight". They are also much thinner than other hinges I have purchased in the past. I did try installing these on a 3 1/2 ft tall wood gate and they ended up bending (installed 3 total) and had to be replaced for thicker higher quality hinges. They have worked well on other light-weight projects around the homestead (lids to the nesting boxes) , but since they were not able to be used on the gates and coop doors as intended, I cannot recommend them. I also used black wood decking screws since they were being mounted on 2x3's and 2x2's.

It is good quality and fits perfect. The textured case helps to keep from siding out of my shirt pocket when bending over. It should for many years. I would recommend it.

I made my own country/barn style doors for a rental property. These hinge not only look great but hold the weight very well. They have a sturdy feel and operate smoothly. Recommend for just about any application.
