The hinges are okay but you will need screws. They send about 20 half inch drywall screws with the hinges, not going to hold up a gate thats obvious. Quiet and smooth.

This is a set of gate hinges that are large and sturdy. They include both short and long Phillips head screws for assembly. They are all powder coated black. They are good value for the money with the heavy metal. They had that stylish new black metal look. And they are very functional as a gate hinge. You just need to make sure all your corners are squared off well and you should be good to go. I got these for a lifting bed though. So I'm going to have a small part and then the rest of it will be able to hinge up. It will be carrying a large sheet of plywood mattress bedding and more. Everything I looked for as far as needs said that this one should work out just fine. I will know more once I do the build. Quiet and smooth.

The hinges are truly nice and beefy with a decently good amount of heft to them. They open and close smoothly and are absolutely blemish free. I've no reason to think they wouldn't hold some substantial weight. Now the included hardware (screws) are a tad on the wimpy side really. They give you a lot of them but that doesn't make up for the size of them. Quiet and smooth.

I have purchased these before for use on cedar toy boxes, hope chests, and coffee tables. They help to establish a rugged or rustic look. I have not used them as actual outdoor gate hinges but they seem strong enough for that purpose also. Quiet and smooth.

These are very nice and heavy duty. I really like them...But they forgot to send the screws and since The brand website (TDC) can not send you the missing parts, they want me to return it to get an exchange. the product said " Every set of hinges is carefully examined and wrapped, SCREWS ARE INCLUDED." I do not want to have to return it...just to get screws. Now I have to go and buy some. If the screws had arrived, I would have rated this a 5. Quiet and smooth.
