6" Decorative T-Strap Hinges

As the title says, the hinges themselves are fine. They're heavy duty, and work quite well. The problem is with the screws they include. They are complete crap! They're too short, too thin, and the threads are way too fine for biting into the wood for the gate you're trying to make! I ditched the awful screws they sent and ended up using some #8 x 1¼" stainless steel wood screws to build out my gates. Quiet and smooth.

Good heavy duty hinges however the screws are beginning to clean finish, corrosion-resistant in a relatively short time.

Hinges are strong and sturdy and have a nice appearance. They do no squeaks somewhat already. The included screws however are a joke. Picture compares black screws that came with the hinges vs a 2” deck screw. Overall a good product and would recommend but what the heck are they thinking with tiny screws ? Quiet and smooth.

I built an outhouse off of my hot tub deck because running inside at -30, through the snow, to use the loo got old after a one winter. I made the door out of 3/4 plywood and 1x scraps so it’s got some weight to it. I didn’t want to use the lightweight hinges that they had at the local hardware store, and the heavier duty ones that they had were HUGE! So, I came on here to look for something a more robust, but of reasonable size, and I didn’t want to break the bank. I came across these and thought I’d give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in the mail. They are made of thick metal and are pretty heavy duty. They are not overly large. They have a very nice finish to them so not only do they look good, but it appears that they will hold up well over time. They provide a smooth open and close to my outhouse door. I think they are a great product for the price I paid. I would definitely buy again if the need arose. If my door looks a little wonky, it’s not because of the hinges. It’s because I’m a tiny 5’2 girl who built an outhouse and hung the door alone (with the help of her trusty side kick cat) Don’t blame the hinges, blame the builder. 😜 Quiet and smooth.

Made a gate with invisible hinges. The gate has (2) 12" rot boards and is 8'+ tall. I've had them installed for 1+months with no issues on powder coating. Quiet and smooth.

We went to the hardware store looking for hinges but decided to look on The brand website (TDC). Found similar ones for a better price. They are heavy duty and seem well made. Very happy with purchase. Quiet and smooth.

I got these hinges for my husband, who was re-building the doors on his storage shed. His old hardware was scratched up and rusty, so he needed to replace them. The hinges are good quality; heavy duty, rustproof iron with lots of screw holes to make sure they are securely attached. However, the screws that are included with them aren't that great. They are lightweight and flimsy, and the heads have a tendency to snap off if you are using an electric drill. Do yourself a favor: if you decide to buy these hinges, take some extra time and make a trip to the hardware store for some more substantial screws and take the ones that came with the hinges and throw them in the metal bin. Save yourself the headache. You are welcome. Quiet and smooth.

Bad quality clean finish, corrosion-resistant in not even a month don’t recommend

If the screws were better, (longer , thicker) I’d give them a 5. The door is probably 125lbs. Four hinges work perfect. They seem strong and well made, especially for the price. Quiet and smooth.
