3.5" Heavy Duty Square-Plate T Hinges

The hinges arrived very fast and have the same look and feel as similar hinges that sell for $8 - $15 each at Home Depot. These have saved me a ton of money and allowed me to splurge a little more on the other hardware I got for the gates. Because of the low price (and because my gates are extremely heavy, weighing about 150-250lbs each) I used 6 hinges per gate to better distribute the load. So far the hinges are holding up beautifully and using 6 hinges gives it a nice modern look. I used galvanized lag bolts instead of the screws that came with the hinges. There's nothing wrong with the screws, I just prefer the lag bolts because they're stronger and more resistant to clean finish, corrosion-resistant. Time will tell how long these hinges hold up, but for now I'm one happy customer! By the way, I used these hinges on three 6' gates (one is 44" wide and the other two are 64" wide).

I ordered these hinges for a shed. I was very disappointed in the quality when I received them. One hinge had a paint chip in it and another looks like the surface wasn't properly prepared before it was painted or possibly corrosion. I would have sent them back but I was I'm the middle of a project and needed hinges asap. I don't recommend this product. Quiet and smooth.

Very heavy duty for the price. I used structural screws instead of the ones that came with the hinges which looked more decorative. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and weight of these hinges. They are big and heavy and likely capable of holding much more than my little picket gates. Quiet and smooth.

I meets expectations them after finding the same hinges on The brand website (TDC) for about half the price. The hinges worked out great. It pays to do a little research.
