3.5" Door Hinges, 5/8" Radius

So, I recently changed the door handle hardware to black, and I noticed that the hinges were stainless steel and had paint on them too. Thought it would be nice to match the new hardware, so needed matte black hinges the hinges.

This was a great match to my handle hardware and super easy to change out. I really liked that the included black screws were longer than the stainless steel ones I had before. They also included (3) really long hinge screws, just in case you needed to drive the screws deep into the door jamb.

Well, make quality hinges, no creaks or noticeable issues. They function well and look great.

For less than the cost of a simple hamburger combo meal at most every fast food joint out there, you can have these very nice hinges. The fit and finish is literally flawless as is their smooth operation. I put them on a greenhouse as the hinges that came with it were terrible. To me, these hinges have greater quality than the price point would lead you to believe. A good, solid product at a decent price.

That being said, you may have noticed how many hinges are offered, and the different price points. There's actually a lot of disparity in pricing. As a reviewer for Amazon I look for Price, Quality, and Quantity. These are well forged and the Fit and Finish is Flawless! The supplied screws are Good quality which is commonly overlooked by many manufacturers. Inaddition they include the customary anchor screws. The 36 count is over the top. Need a bigger House!

These hinges are best quality hinges, and the metal is very smooth. This set of comes with its own screws, but since the door had larger screws, I reused the previous ones and the hinges worked fine with them as well. I love the color, the quietness of the hinges, and how easy they are to install. The door has been working great with these hinges, super thank you for this product as it has made my life so much easier.

My Ramblings
Tip Spoiler: Use Toothpicks (see below). I’ve been in and around the building industry for more than a minute and always a pleasure finding something worthwhile, So, Let’s take a closer look at these.

To the Point or TL;DR
Excellent hinges, Packed to arrive in great shape, No defects, Screws heads that don’t strip and they hold their color. Short and Long screws. Great consistent color. Perfect fit. Smooth operation.

The Good Stuff
I really have seen my fair share of hinges and these truly are good. They have consistent color and awesome screws that not only don’t strip, but also maintain their color during install. Other screws end up showing shiny metal underneath a coating after screwing them in, these don’t. They include a long screw for each hinge and each hinge is packed correctly for safe shipping with cardboard between the two parts to avoid damage. I know it seems like I drank the koolaid, but I was surprised at the quality and I am very happy with these. The price is also phenomenal. Doors look great and open/close smoothly.

The Tip Stuff
Use toothpicks. I find a lot of hinge screw holes stripped on a regular basis, so I carry a box or six of dollar store toothpicks to stuck in the hole before reinserting screw. Works like a charm. Seriously though… I stuff if full. Even tap them in with hammer if they stick out some.

The Bad Stuff
I have not found any of the usual issues with these.

Who May Use/Like It
Those wanting to upgrade their hinges and make it all look new.

Really, really surprised at the great quality of these and dang happy.

These hinges were packaged very well, with each one protected to prevent any scratches during shipping. They feel very heavy duty and are exactly the standard size I needed for a home update. The matte black finish is clean, modern, and scratch resistant, which was a big plus for me. They even come with matching black screws, which really helps everything look uniform and professional once installed.

There are enough hinges in this box to do 10 doors, which ended up being the exact number I needed. Great product if you're upgrading to black hardware, I highly recommend.
