2″–5″ Light Duty T Hinges

I use these to attach my one step to the deck. My brother taught me this for the ground swelling in the wintertime.

The hinges I ordered, the 8" version, had so much play in the hinge that they're not even usable. Returning to find better ones.

Hinges. Heavy duty too.

Thin metal no ball bearings as described just a pin. Slack so once door hung it it sagged. Not heavy duty at all. Says rated for 110lbs each when used in set of 3. Door 150lbs couldnt hold it. Id say 110lb total if used as a 3 set not 330lbs.

These have a heavy weight to them. They work good on wood garden gate.

There is an abundance of play in the hinge pin. 3 of them had over a 1/4” play which is an awful lot for a brand new hinge assembly. I held the jamb side (rectangle shape) and moved the door side (triangle) up and down with ease. I know it’s just Chinese product but the machined tolerances were pretty bad. They serve a purpose but don’t expect them to last very long or function smoothly. Once attached there is a lot, repeat, a lot of excessive movement. It almost feels the the screws are loose.

I used these for doors on my chicken coop, not nearly as sturdy as I thought they would be. They do wor.k.

If I knew that it not too strong to hold my fence gate, I wouldn’t buy it.
