4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

Nice looking, sturdy hinges! Well made! They come with the hardware you need to install them.
The hinges have a nice range of motion. We are in the middle of constructing an Outhouse, in our basement, to have as a second bathroom. Obviously, it is not a real outhouse; but we are making it look like an outhouse. The bathroom hook-ups that are in a really weird place, and we are not in a position to build permanent walls.
We have a tiki lounge down there, and an Indoor-Outdoor looking garden, so an outhouse seemed like a fun option. These hinges are perfect for the door! We are really happy with them.

I contacted the seller of this item, and received a response by the end of the day. He offered several options for correcting my problem. Yesterday I received what was needed to make the purchase whole.

I needed to replace a gate, but did not want to replace the posts. Although the posts are sturdy and in good condition, they are a bit warped. The gate, however, was seriously sagging and partially rotted. It was important to me, therefore, that the hinges provided firm support in spite of the twist. These hinges have been working well for over a month. So far, I am very pleased with how well they are holding the gate in place. Their operation has been smooth and quiet.

I do have one concern: The packet of screws was one short. Amazon has provided me with a link to the supplier, to see if anything can be done concerning this. In the meantime, I have used a deck screw on the bottom hinge. It works. Its color just does not match. The four star rating is solely for the missing screw. Overall, the product has met expectation. Only time will tell how well the hinges themselves will hold up.

Heavy duty hinges to support a not too light shed door. I wish the screws were a bit longer to bite more into the wood but still did the job.

These straps are really heavy duty. The screws are not so good so be prepared to use your own. But the overall hinges are beautiful and strong.

Well built with heavy duty materials. The original hinges to our side door was broken as the strong winds blew the door off, and this worked wonder as the sturdy replacement. Fear no more!

I received these door hinges in exchange for a fair review. I appreciate the offer and I am happy to do so. These t-strap hinges are good for the price ($17 in November 2020). It’s as basic as it gets without being disappointing. The finish is black paint; Mildly robust, but not too tough. I would say if there is a chance that they get constantly dinged they are maybe not the best choice. Other than that they are good. A juicy drop of machine oil wakes them up, since they go a bit heavy when freshly hatched out of the bag.
In relation with the price I give them all the five stars. They are a great option when fancyness isn’t needed. I took a few photos and measurements. I hope it helps to make a decision. If so, please let me know by clicking the button.

Showed up BENT and DAMAGED

I repaired a gate that attached to our back deck. The shorter hinges were not holding up as well and it probably been on there for 10 years. I bought these 12-in hinges and added some extra screws and the work great. I was able to bend them exactly where I needed to so it swiveled open and closed very smoothly. Now it's time to repaint.
