4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

These hinges look formidable but aren't. If you are counting on these to bear the weight of heavy gate; think again. Small wood screws should have been a hint.

These advertise is heavy duty. I bought the 12 inch for a fence gate. These are rated for A couple hundred pounds, but even with three hinges on a 8 foot gate that weighed 375lbs these hinges could not support the weight and bent. The manufacturer has inflated the thickness and grade of the metal.

These are probable ok for doors and gates under 100 lbs, but why spend any $$$ in cheap junk!

These are nice and heavy and very well made. Contains the screws needed and does exactly what it says!

Hinges were very loose…no way they would hold a gate in position properly.

looked a little flimsy on arrival, but they are not, hung 4' x 8' barn doors no problems works great

Dipped in lousy coating, came chipped. Very loose. I’m sick of Chinese garbage sold by Amazon . These won’t last at all . Screws are way too short and only one screw was long enough. I’m a retired carpenter. The crap they’re selling these days sucks. Don’t buy. Use a piece of leather will work just as good. Ha! Ha!

These hinges are for a large heavy gate but the screws are too small to support them. You’ll have to buy your own large expensive screws to use these hinges. No money saved.

I had to return these due to poor quality. Planned to use outside and the finish was chipping off of the hinge when it arrived so I know it would be dusting and need to be replaced quickly if used.. I suggest spending a few extra dollars for quality if you can.

All the hardware is already rusting- I’ve had it for under a month. Like all the other reviews plan on buying all new mounting screws as well! Then plan on spending more money to paint it all also. I wish I could give it a negative rating
