4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

These are nice black powder coated hinges. They appear to be well manufactured with no sharp ends or sections with uneven powder coating. I like that the screw holes are countersunk so that the wood screws are flush against the hinge. The hinge action is smooth with no noise when they move. Once the weather improves I'm going to build an outdoor shed and use these hinges for the door.

One note to mention is that the strap part of the hinge only extends about 5 1/2" from the end of the hinge to the tip of the strap. The picture with the listing measurement is inaccurate. This isn't an issue for me, jut trying to provide accurate info in the review.

These hinges are excellent, I am building a shed and wanted to put shallow shelves on the doors to keep smaller things, spray cans, random fluids, rags, etc. So I needed some heavy duty hinges to be able to support the extra weight. These hinges are excellent, they are very strong and able to carry the load no problem, the are well made and look great.

Heavy duty gate hinge that looks as good as it functions. It's made with 4mm thick steel and a nice powder coating. This is a much nicer look than the plain ol steel gate hinges. Comes with matching hardware so everything looks good when installed.

These hinges are heavy duty. They come with the screws needed to install them. We plan to fix a broken gate on our fence. The hinges should fit quite well.

My gate got detached from 2 out of 3 hinges.once I was ready to install these on the door they went on without any problems whatsoever. I definitely feel that they will hold the door up for several years. I will keep you posted if not! Definitely recommended

I will be using this for a barn door. And they should do the job fairly well, but possibly not a long-term hinge. The metal in the hinge is a little thinner than the traditional hinges that I bought in the past and I believe the plastic spacers that are in in the hinges will wear out prematurely. However, the black paint on them seems to be well done and they look nice so possibly for a door that will not get a lot of use.

I like the look - not fancy but almost Medieval, timeless, no frill. Big benefits of well-thought out details like the offset screw holes that are countersunk, and hinges for right or left application. The gate is still to be built but these will be a handsome and strong important element. Wear over years is the last test!

The hinge is pretty rigid, it's packed tight.

It's got good paint coverage, but on these import items I'm always concerned they could rust from the inside.

They have quite a few blemishes on them - not sure if that's from manufacturing or if that happened in transit.

The screws included are really short. I've always used bolts and deck screws when possible.

To me they seem a tad thinner and lighter than brand name hinges. But I think they'll work.

Hubby is using these to put up a large gate in the backyard. They appear well made and are really heavy. Have a nice look to them as well. Will update after setting up gate as to how well they hold up.
