4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

I am putting a gate in that will allow our dogs to get off our porch and go out into the yard. These hinges are perfect for this gate. The black looks stylish and is perfectly manufactured. No chipped paint or burrs noted.
These were easy to install. I did use my own nails simply because I had thicker wood I needed to go through. These come with everything you need for installation. They look stylish and I get tons of compliments on my dog gate.

I installed these hinges on a single, barn-style door. Take the time to plum/ level your door properly, and these will work great. I ordered the 6" style, and they are just a little shorter than 6". The metal is clean, flat, and they did a good job on the powder coating as well. I will purchase again.

Heavy duty but not super heavy duty, good for a gate. I believe these will last for a while but I don't use the gate often so as far as durability is concerned it will be quite a while before I know. Quiet if you hang your door correctly, but I also hit it with some WD40 when I'm bored and don't have anything to do other than walk around and WD40 doors and locks. They look presentable enough to be a hinge. Honestly I've had zero problems.

This type of hinge is useful for so many outdoor projects, gates, outbuilding doors, making stalls for livestock and so much more. We will be using them to build another chicken coop this spring, since we decided to expand our flock this year. These hinges are classically good looking in a style that has endured for centuries! Thumbs up!

These 6-inch hinges are well-constructed and have a durable powder coating. I used them to secure the doors of a garbage can enclosure. They worked well and were easy to install. However, the screws provided are not long enough to secure the hinges properly to some surfaces. You may need to purchase longer screws depending on your project's needs.

I am going to build a cold frame. I was going to build one this week, and I was waiting to write this review until after I installed the hinges. But it's snowing. Like, really snowing outside, so the cold frame has to wait. What I can say, is these seem well made, heavy weight and sturdy. I think the price and quality seem to be better than the big box stores. If they fall apart after install, I'll let you know, but I think these are going to work just fine.

These are nice black powder coated hinges. They appear to be well manufactured with no sharp ends or sections with uneven powder coating. I like that the screw holes are countersunk so that the wood screws are flush against the hinge. The hinge action is smooth with no noise when they move. Once the weather improves I'm going to build an outdoor shed and use these hinges for the door.

One note to mention is that the strap part of the hinge only extends about 5 1/2" from the end of the hinge to the tip of the strap. The picture with the listing measurement is inaccurate. This isn't an issue for me, jut trying to provide accurate info in the review.
