4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

WE INSTALLED THESE ON NEW 5 FT HIGH WOODEN GATES. THEY ARE FANTASTIC. WE NO LONGER WORRY ABOUT FINDING A GATE BLOWN OPEN FROM WIND.

Heavy-duty. Used on chicken coop.

Good quality hinges. They look nice and they were easy to install. Super happy with the quality!

These hinges work fine if you are building something that needs a door that is at least 2 ft by 2 ft. If you want to do something a little bit smaller, these hinges really don't work because there's too much slop or movement in the hinge itself. In other words, if you are working with a very specific opening and you need a really tightly fitted close then these probably aren't very good. If you're working with a gate or something that doesn't really depend on a tight fit and there can be a little bit of play, then they were just fine.

Very cheaply made item. Will not hold a heavy gate.

Not heavy duty. Loose hinge connection. Not suitable for a heavy gate or door, or where you need a tight fit.

I used all four to hold up a solid large cabinet door to hold a couple of dozen heavy clamps. (I used the cabinet door because I needed the space.). These hinges have held up well for several months and there has been no sag or failure. They appear to be quite strong and well made. Recommended.

wasn't as heavy duty as I needed for my gate so I had to get something else. may be fine for a door sized gate

Used these on a new home made gate. Worked well.

These strap hinges seem well made and will work fine for our shed doors, but the hardware is another story. They are tiny sheetrock screws, and low quality ones at that. Be prepared to furnish your own hardware w/ this set of hinges.
