4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

Good for the price they didn’t come in in the best condition

I cannot express this enough...these are NOT sturdy enough for any size gate. Upon opening the package, one was bent, one missing and I could literally bend them. I relied on reviews, my bad. You get what you pay for and for the price for 12 I paid the same amount for 3 at my local fencing company and they are solid with the pin being over 1 1/2".

If you are looking for decorating pieces, then these are great. Other than that, I wouldn't bother.

Powder coated finish should last a little bit of playing in the pin. All in all an excellent product!!!

In the first set of 4 hinges I received, one was bent and two hinges had paint chipped off. I returned the hinges to Amazon and received a replacement set of hinges. The 2nd set of hinges had chipped paint issues also. The product description says rust proof, but they won’t be rust proof since the paint quality is poor.

You might be able to use these as a vertical hinge but they're useless for doors. Got these for a shed door for but they're loose and would immediately sag.

I mounted these to allow a 2ft square door to swing 270 degrees around a 4x4 post. I mounted the long end onto a spacer block by the two end screws only, end the "T" end on the side of the 4x4 post. Works well.

I bought this for driveway gates thinking they would work because it said "heavy duty". I am in construction business and would definitely not say these are heavy duty. They would work for a shed door maybe...

Overall I am very happy with the the hinges as they are as described and work well. I have triple layer shed doors and so far they haven’t dropped at all. I couldn’t give them 5 stars as I think they should come with beefier screws but the hinges themselves were 5 stars. As others reported they screws were way to short so I used 2 1/2 black lag bolts. I expected, and knew about the short screws from other reviews but bought them knowing this and still happy.

I bought them for my fence that gives vehicles access to my backyard... these hinges can't support the weight so I ended up having to buy other ones at the hardware store... not impressive
