4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

The hinge has give in it.. You need to allow for it to drop your gate or door some, especially if door or gate is heavy.

I had to return those they were to hold the heavy door. They were too weak.

Get what you pay for! They're fine.

They should give you some better screws. At least some #8 X 2in. Since the hinges are heavy duty..

Unfortunatley I had to return because the hinge pin was to narrow and the hinges had to much play in them for my application , a tighter fit with the pin would have been perfect other than that they are nice

Used for a gate on the property. Seems to be OK.

Too much play in the pin, causes gate to sag. Cheap metal ended up bending over a few months of use.

My first impression when I picked up the package was that it was pretty light, especially for 4x 10" hinges. When I took them out of the box, there were indentions/gouges in the paint. I think they were from handling/movement before the coating dried. There was one small spot about 1/8 inch diameter that didn't even get coated. These hinges were pretty thin, and I think without the added paint, they would feel even thinner and bend easier. Definitely not for a heavy shed door or fence gate.

Hinges are not as heavy duty as I was anticipating. Two were bent during the delivery. Will return.
