4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

I used them for my chicken house I built. 3 on the right side for the nesting box lid and one for the front door flap. I was worried the screws would be too short to hold but they’ve held up so far. Heavy/seems durable enough to last awhile in the Texas heat/sun.

Showed up BENT and DAMAGED

Excellent quality T-hinge but the installation screws provided were too short for my application. These hinges were purchased as part of a client's shed door refabrication project and worked extremely well. The new shed door was constructed of treated lumber, and due to the moisture content of the wood, the weight was more than expected. The screws provided by the manufacturer were discarded, and the hinges were installed using 2½ inch Deckmate Star drive Coated Screws (see pic). When operated, the doors easily opened and closed without sagging. Although the screws were too short for my application, I would rate this product 5-star. They are well made, easily installed, and I highly recommend them!

Absolutely junk, do not buy! They gave small light duty screws for heavy duty hinges that are not heavy duty hinges I don't suspect that these hinges will last very long. False advertising at its finest

not as heavyduty as you might think. metal thickness.pin size, everything has a place when you call an item heavyduty. these are like mediem duty in my opinion. still agood deal. needed to use three on a door to achieve some sturdiness.

Heavy duty and great price. Happy with my purchase.

Screws are under sized and so are the pins, I built some shed doors that weigh approximately 45lbs. a piece and the top hinges are starting to bend outwards and I used 3 hinges per door so I would not buy again

Used to hide pond equipment in this little planter.

Hinges seem pretty heavy duty, but the hardware that came with them are a joke. Tiny little screws more suited for building picture frames. I had to buy some 5/16 lag bolts and open the holes on the hinges a little bit for them to fit. 1/4” lag bolts would fit just right, but my local home center didn’t have enough. Needed 54 to do six hinges.

I just received these 6 hinges and noticed the black finish is coming off in some places on every one. I’m returning because I don’t think the finish will be durable outside and they will rust.
