4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

Great product. Couldn't find this study black hinges in this size at my local Home Depot.

This 6" hinge is plenty sturdy and I used the set to hang a very heavy wooden gate on the fence by our garage. The only drawback is price. Similar hinges can be found at less cost. So you may want to shop this around before buying.

This is a set of 2 heavy duty door hinges for outdoor/indoor use. It def worth the money and it looks great as well. One other thing I noticed is that it is made with quality material. You can use it for chest, barn doors, or any outdoor structure that needs open/close. I can see it being used in a rabbit cage or chicken coop which I think that's what I will be ending up using it for. It comes with screws as well but I would get longer screws if you have a heavy door to hold. Hope this helps out the future buyer!

These are nice quality hinges. I purchased six and one does not open and close as smoothly as the others, but it is OK. They have some sort of plastic bearings/washers on the hinge pins separating the two parts. I had hoped this was a metal bearing based on the pictures, but it is definitely plastic. We will see how that wears over time but it is better than direct metal-on-metal contact and wear. I purchased these for chicken coop doors but they seem appropriate for normal single width wooden gates too. I would not hesitate to hang 50-70 lbs off a pair of them.

Comes with #8 x 1 inch wood screws. That seems a little small depending on the weight of the door. I ordered larger 2 inch screws.

I used them on a shed door, they can hold alot of weight!

Although I read the 6” description, they were somewhat smaller than I expected. BUT, I’ve had a pair of these on my 8 Ft wooden gate for about 6 weeks now, and they’ve held up well under very frequent and heavy use on my relatively large backyard gate. The hinges that we on before we’re much larger, but. It as sturdy as these, and I’ve had to replace those more than once. I feel far more confident with these new hinges because of how sturdy and solid they feel.

Hinges appear heavy duty. I’m sure they will work just fine.

I am not saying this kit is the strongest gate hinge and latch kit out there but I used them on a gate that will not get used very often so the kit is working just fine. All components needed for installation come with the kit. So at the price it is great value
