4″–12″ Heavy Duty Gate T Hinges

I built a custom door for my wife's chicken coop that easily weighs 80lbs and these hinges supported the weight with no problem at all. The finish is nice, and they add the farmhouse vibe well.

Original order received as a sealed empty bag. I do not owe for replacements. Small hinge side was too short to use once I did receive replacements and I had to order longer hinges.

Installed these less than two weeks ago. It’s rained twice and these are already rusting. The screws supplied are also rusting and I’m not sure they will last-may need to switch out eventually.

These are great hinges, but the screws can be marred with a power drill. Best to drill 3/32 pilot holes and use a regular screwdriver.

If you are replacing old hinges that are painted over, first clear the old screw heads with a small flat blade screwdriver and a mallet. Also cut carefully along the old paint line with a utility knife before you remove the old hinges.
