3.5" Heavy Duty Square-Plate T Hinges

Purchased these for a garage cabinet I was making. However, due to the final design, was concerned that they may not be the right functional design for my project. They were meets expectations. Quiet and smooth.

Wife wanted red cedar gates to porch 6' tall to keep the GSD from jumping over it. After only two weeks the gates are starting to sag towards the middle. Will definitely need something heavy duty. These would be perfect for smaller light weight gates. Quiet and smooth.

These are nice hinges. I installed one pair six weeks ago and they still look like new. No issue with clean finish, corrosion-resistant or corrosion after being out in the humid rainy weather here in our coastal salty air. I installed the other 4 this weekend. The screws that are included are pretty short for my application. I'm using my own screws. I started with the ones that were included only because I didn't have the longer ones yet. They are OK but about an inch into a 4x4 is not doing much. The gates I'm swinging weigh about 120 pounds each. They swing fine with two of these but I added a third for stability.

I wanted to try my hand at building and installing a gate on my fence. I've done a lot of various little diy things but never anything as big as installing a door, even a gate door. I watched a couple of youtube videos and was able to install these hinges without a single issue. They work great and look even better. They are very heavy duty and the gate swings really smoothly. I'm so proud of my handiwork! Quiet and smooth.

I used these on a 7 foot wide, wooden gate. They work great! Update on Review: I used these on four more gates and they continue to be strong, dependable, gate hinges. I have used two hinges on gates up toe 5 feed wide and all four hinges on gates over 5 ft. Quiet and smooth.

Heavy duty with long enough screws to hold semi-heavy doors. Used for an angled cellar door. 3 on each door, but could have gone with only 2 on each side. Three looked better. Quiet and smooth.
