3.5" Heavy Duty Square-Plate T Hinges

I wanted to try my hand at building and installing a gate on my fence. I've done a lot of various little diy things but never anything as big as installing a door, even a gate door. I watched a couple of youtube videos and was able to install these hinges without a single issue. They work great and look even better. They are very heavy duty and the gate swings really smoothly. I'm so proud of my handiwork! Quiet and smooth.

These are nice hinges. I installed one pair six weeks ago and they still look like new. No issue with clean finish, corrosion-resistant or corrosion after being out in the humid rainy weather here in our coastal salty air. I installed the other 4 this weekend. The screws that are included are pretty short for my application. I'm using my own screws. I started with the ones that were included only because I didn't have the longer ones yet. They are OK but about an inch into a 4x4 is not doing much. The gates I'm swinging weigh about 120 pounds each. They swing fine with two of these but I added a third for stability.

I need to replace hinges on a trash shed that were not good quality and well aligned. I havent installed the new ones yet but they are so much better quality than what is on there. I know they will work good because they are heavy duty. I was happily surprised at how heavy duty and well made they are because the price was so good. Quiet and smooth.

I used these on a 7 foot wide, wooden gate. They work great! Update on Review: I used these on four more gates and they continue to be strong, dependable, gate hinges. I have used two hinges on gates up toe 5 feed wide and all four hinges on gates over 5 ft. Quiet and smooth.

... and these are the ones. Powder coated should beat the weather. Mounted them with an impact driver and the powder coating was undamaged. Screws were a little small for a heavy duty hinge but the cost of heavier screws is a minor inconvenience considering you get 6 for the price of 1 of "the other guys". Exactly what I was looking for. Quiet and smooth.
