3.5" Door Hinges, 5/8" Radius

First thing even before I opened the package is the weight of these hinges, I can definitely feel these are built with heavy metal. I love how solid and strong these hinges are because I always having issue with bended hinges especially with kids at home, with these, I don't feel like it's going to bend as easy as my current ones. The size fits right in with the existing space, however, these have more rounded corners than the ones I currently have, so I have to use putty to patch the gap after installed it. One other thing I wish they would improve is the number of long screws it came with. I tend to use one long screw per hinge to secure the hinge better, but this one came with one. But overall, I'm very pleased with these hinges

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I recently replaced 13 interior doors and their hinges. I ordered a12 pack of these then a single set. The 12 pack was great. No issues. The single set however I noticed felt very stiff and did not freely move. Upon taking the pins out, I noticed the pins had a very tough adhesive on them. The only thing in my house that worked as a solvent was Hoppes 9 gun cleaner. I can’t understand for the life of me why adhesive would be put into a door hinge pin. But other than that they all function great. The price is great too. The ones at big box stores are grossly overpriced. 

AmzGod Door Hinges Satin Brass - 24 Pack -- These are standard size hinges made of thick sturdy metal. Twenty four hinges in the box. They are satin brass with exact matching screws. It's impressive that they included one 2 1/4" screw per hinge so that they will reach into the door frame for strength. I'm painting several rooms in my house and updating by replacing flat slab doors with 6 panel doors to add some character. The old hinges work fine but they were covered in several coats of paint. I wanted to make them look new along with the doors. These hinges are the exact same size and hole pattern of the old hinges. I'll have to route hinge indentations in the new door edges to match the existing indentations in the jam but I have a jig for that so it's no biggie. My one disappointment in the hinges is that they are somewhat loose as they pivot on the pin. They do rattle a little. That may not show once the doors are up but if they do still feel loose there is a fix for that. I can use my vise grip pliers and pinch the hinge a little tighter around the pin to remove that looseness. These are an excellent value at the current price of $31.99 for 24 hinges. The least expensive matching hinges I could find at the big box stores were a little over two dollars each at bulk pricing. The ad states these are rust proof but scratch that brass finish or don't oil the pin periodically and they will rust if they get wet. I'll only use solid brass or stainless steel hinges on bathroom doors. Four stars only because of the loose rattle.

Perfect door hardware. With the screws were a little longer and wider (they give you ONE longer screw? And way too many small ones) but doors closed fine, hinges were well made and quiet. Solid weight to them. Happy with everything except the screws but they DID work Alignment seems fine had one issue with one door and not sure why. Maybe hinge is off?

Good quality hinge at a great price, but the grease they use on the pin is very thick and sticky. I imagine it helps keep the door quiet and smooth, but if you have to remove a pin its tougher than typical hinge. It was easier to just unscrew the hinge when necessary.

YES!!! Now I can start opening doors again and can’t wait to see these things in action. The overall build is good and have no issues with that. The package it came in was pretty much gone but it’s not a huge deal to me.

The main gripe I have is…WHY only 3?!?! So people have to order 2 packs? That’s my main frustration.

Good product. It just was not the color I expected with the handles on the doors. They did not match the gold but it’s pretty hard to get the same matching product unless it’s from the same company.
