3.5" Door Hinges, 5/8" Radius

The new hinges match the dimensions of the gold builder hinges exactly, which makes changing them out an easy task. The hinges have a sturdy feel and a solid finish. The matte black is popular and they match perfectly with the matte black Schlage door latch sets I installed as part of the upgrade project. Even with good hinges, door fit complications can arise. Be sure to change them out one hinge at a time to minimize door alignment issues. There are plenty of YouTube instructional videos on how to fix alignment problems. Also, use a a box cutter to clean up globs of caulk that inevitably accumulate on the door frame near the top and bottom of the hinges for a clean look. It’s also a great time to repaint your door casings before changing to the new hinges. Best of luck!

These hinges look great and work well. The measurements in the product description are accurate. I like that the hinge pin is removable. I was able to remove the pin without too much effort using a nail and hammer. The hinge pin comes well greased so the hinges have a smooth action. I got the 12-pack and it is just handy to have extra hinges on hand beyond the couple I needed for a door I was hanging. My one quip is that I would prefer the logo not be etched so prominently into the door, though I guess you would only see that when the door is open. I'm happy with this product.

I honestly didn't realize how much of a difference this would make. How great it was to find a pack of 30- 10 doors get a stylish upgrade with very little effort! They fit perfectly into the old hinge space and were installed in a flash. Doors open and close easily- super happy with the results. Pics of old hinge vs new ORB hinges.

These look amazing right out of the package and seem really well made! I haven’t tested them out yet, but the color is bright and shiny gold - just what I was looking for! My old ones I’ve had for 30 years are turning brown and these will freshen things up!

I wanted to update the look of some of doors and replace the old gold colored knobs with modern black lever-style knobs. After completing the project I realized that the doors wouldn't look right unless I replaced the hinges too.
This set of 30 hinges let me upgrade 10 doors.
They have removeable pins to make it easy to rehang the doors. Just keep your screws a bit loose until you reinstall the pins. The rounded edges and holes lined up perfectly with the standard hinges I replaced.
The black finish is accomplished with thick paint (or powder coat?), and is quite durable. I did a scratch test on the back of one of the hinges and it took a lot of effort to scratch through the paint. The paint didn't chip during installation.
They come with enough black screws to hang the doors, plus 2 longer screws per hinge if you need more holding power. If you're replacing hinges, you may want to break a flat toothpick in each hole and add a drop of wood glue to assure that the screws hold. The screws are likely to be thinner than the ones that came with your original hinges, so this trick can work will to tighten the holes if you don't want to find new thicker black screws.
They work well, look good, haven't squeaked yet, and are a great value for the price.

Pretty nice, just make sure you have round hinges that you’re replacing not square ones.
From the photos my paint job needs a little work, but the hinges themselves are great.
