3.5" Door Hinges, 5/8" Radius

I purposely bought these "removable pin" hinges for a project. Luckily, I tried removing the pins before mounting them. Each took several good whacks with a full size hammer on a drift pin to free them. Upon inspection the pins had a grease that had hardened and basically turned into glue.

The actual hinge quality is excellent, the material is heavy, and it has an outstanding finish.

The item came with 4 of 6 out of the plastic wrapping and the box torn up. I can't tell if this was a returned item or just got beat up in shipping. Everything was there and it worked for what I needed, so oh well.

Overall I am happy even with the quirks.

These door hinges are simple design and the color looks nice. They looks sturdy and matches my door color. Each one comes with their own screws. They operate smoothly, and no squeaking noise issue. I am happy with the product so far.

Compared to the butts I had been using from the big home improvement store, these are actually a full 1/64" thinner - actually 17% thinner! The plating is a little uneven too, though no one sees that once installed. By comparison, the price is slightly less at $1.58 each versus $2.15 from the "blue" store. The good point about this is that you get the longer "stud" screw where those are not included in the other brand. I had been using solid core doors inside (since the price went through the roof) and always use the longer stud screw - especially in a pine jamb. The box these arrived in was re-taped (before shipping) and a full pack of screws was missing. I guess the AMZ robot dropped this box! So even though the long screws are "supposed" to be included, considering the difference in thickness I will probably continue to use the other brand with solid doors. This company should also consider offering other colors - bright brass is not always the current "fashion" choice.

Good basic black hinges. Fit screw hole locations of original 1960 hinges. Screws were a size thinner than the original screws which makes for substantial weaker attachment of an important component of any home. Black screws are hard to come by at the local box stores. I ended up adding wood slices to the holes. It was worth the price savings, but perhaps they can include larger screws to future orders.
