These hinges are fine, however I specifically purchased them because of the claim that the pins can be taken out. That is a false claim. The pins cannot be taken out. At least I could not get them out after installing them and using a hammer to remove the pin like I have done for years on most door hinges. No amount of pounding could remove the pins. Removing and slightly bending a hinge pin is the easiest way to fix a door that won't stay open. I am switching my hardware from brass (gold) to brushed nickel, and I have 2 doors that won't stay open, but it seems impossible to buy a door hinge with a removable pin these days.

The box was open and only 1 hinge was included in the box that was supposed to include 6 hinges

I’m always concerned about ordering products online that have to be exact with the measurements. Well, this product didn’t disappoint. I had new interior doors put in a couple of years ago. I had installed French door handles which were gold and the hinges on the doors came in silver. Now that I’m painting and doing a small makeover; I’m changing out the hinges to finally match the French handles. These hinges create a smooth and clean appearance and the measurements are perfect!
