To install, I did each one separately, while the door was still on the door jamb. This made the project easier to do and was accomplished in short order. This was a good purchase; well made, attractive black replacement hinges. The screws were smaller in gauge than what I was replacing. To overcome the This I inserted toothpicks into the holes. This is a common problem and solution. If they are for a new installation, the screws would be no problem.
