    Can't remove the pin

    Update: You can remove the pin. I used a C clamp to push it out. It is held in with some sort of glue which I used goo gone to remove. Hinge works fine now but I've never had a pin this hard to remove.

    Despite what the illustration shows and the manufacturer claiming it can be done, I hit the bottom of the pin very hard with a nail. It does not come out. It's pretty though.
