Yes. Our locks are designed for versatile use on both interior and exterior doors. They are made of durable, high-quality materials with rust-resistant finishes, so they can withstand regular use in any environment (even humid bathrooms or front entryways) without corroding.
Our locks are made to fit standard door preparations. This means they work with doors about 1⅜″ to 1¾″ thick (the typical range for interior and exterior doors). The latch length is adjustable to accommodate the two common backset distances (2⅜″ or 2¾″ from the door’s edge), so no extra drilling should be needed if your door is pre-drilled to standard dimensions. In short, you can easily replace an existing knob or deadbolt with our lock on a standard door.
Our locks are constructed from high-quality metals like zinc alloy and stainless steel. These materials provide excellent strength and durability. We also apply a protective coating on the surface for additional corrosion resistance. As a result, the locks are truly rust-proof in normal use – you can even use them in humid areas (like a bathroom or outdoors under a covered porch) for years without seeing rust or fading.
Everything you need is included in the package. Each lock set comes with all the necessary parts: the lock mechanism (interior and exterior knob/lever pieces or keypad unit for smart locks), an adjustable latch, a strike plate, installation screws, and two keys (for keyed locks or as backup keys for smart locks). We also include detailed instruction manuals, and there’s an installation video tutorial available. You won’t need any special tools beyond a screwdriver – no need to purchase extra hardware or hire a professional.
Absolutely. Our door locks are designed for DIY-friendly installation. The process is straightforward: you remove the old hardware and install the new lock in the existing holes. Thanks to the included instructions (and video guide), even first-time installers can typically complete the swap in just a few minutes. There is no need to take the door off its hinges or make complex adjustments. If you can use a screwdriver, you can install our locks on your own!
Yes. Our door handle sets are reversible to accommodate either left-handed or right-handed doors. Lever-style handles can be flipped to the correct orientation, and round knob designs are non-handed by nature. This means you don’t have to worry about door handedness – the lock will fit either door configuration.
It depends on the hinge design. Generally, our standard hinges (those without built-in damping) have removable pins. Hinges that include a damping oil mechanism for quieter operation have pins secured in place. In practice, hinges below a certain thickness or grade are often pre-lubricated (to prevent squeaks) and we do not recommend removing their pins. Heavy-duty hinges (thicker design, often used on larger doors) usually do not have internal oil, so their pins can be removed if needed (for example, to take a door off) by tapping them out with a hammer and nail.
Removing a hinge pin is easy. Simply open the door and support it, then take a thin nail or punch and place it at the bottom of the hinge pin. Tap the nail upward with a hammer. The pin will slide up and out of the hinge barrel. (Tip: It helps to have the door propped open and the hinge aligned while you do this.) Always use caution and perhaps have someone hold the door steady, especially for heavy doors, when removing pins.
Most standard doors use three hinges. For a typical interior or entry door (around 6’8″ tall), three hinges provide the right support and alignment. Taller or heavier doors (over 7 feet, or very solid wood doors) might require four hinges for extra stability. We offer hinge packs in quantities that cover one or multiple doors. For example, a pack of 3 hinges is enough for one door, and a pack of 6 hinges will outfit two doors.
We sell hinges in various pack sizes (the product title or description will indicate the quantity, e.g., “6 Pack”). All hinges include matching screws for installation. For instance, each 3.5″ hinge comes with 7 screws (6 short screws of 0.75″ for the door side and 1 longer screw of about 1.6″ for the jamb side for added strength). Each 4″ hinge includes 9 screws (8 short screws ~1″ long, and 1 long screw of 1.6″). The screws are finished to match the hinge color. You won’t need to buy any additional screws or hardware.
Our door hinges can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are made from iron or stainless steel with a durable finish, which makes them sturdy enough for exterior doors as well as perfectly suited for interior doors. Whether you’re installing a hinge on a bedroom door or a front entrance, it will perform reliably. (If using outdoors, the hinge’s rust-resistant coating will protect it from the elements.)
Yes, hinge replacement is very simple. You do not need to take the entire door down. The easiest method is to replace hinges one at a time while the door stays in place. Just unscrew and remove an old hinge (while the other hinges hold the door), then screw the new hinge on in its place before moving on to the next hinge. This one-at-a-time swap method ensures the door remains aligned. With a standard screwdriver, installation for a set of three hinges can be done in minutes.
Yes. Our hinges have a special rust-proof coating on the surface. This protective layer prevents corrosion. We have tested them in high-humidity and even bathroom environments – even after long periods of use there are no signs of rust or discoloration. You can trust these hinges to maintain their appearance and function, even in moisture-prone areas.
Materials: We use both high-grade iron with protective coatings and 304 stainless steel for our hinges, depending on the model. In either case, they are designed to be rust-resistant. The stainless steel hinges (and included stainless steel screws) are especially suited for any weather or climate – they won’t rust even in outdoor use or humid climates. For the plated iron hinges, the rust-proof finish ensures longevity as well. In summary, all our hinges and screws have excellent corrosion resistance.
Our hinges are engineered to support heavy doors. A standard 3.5″ hinge set can easily handle a typical interior door or a solid core door. In fact, the strength of the hinges is more than adequate for doors up to 4–6 feet wide or very thick wooden doors. Customers have used them on solid hardwood entry doors, heavy barn doors, and standard hollow-core doors with no problems. The hinges pivot smoothly and bear the weight without squeaking or bending.
We provide three main categories of door locks to meet different needs: lever-handle locks, round knob locks, and smart locks. The lever handle locks have a straight or curved handle that is easy to grab (great for accessibility and modern style), while the classic ball-shaped knob locks have a more traditional look. Our smart locks are electronic and offer keyless entry features. All types are made with high-quality metal construction and come in matching finishes with our other hardware. Whether you need a simple interior passage knob or a high-tech fingerprint lock for your front door, we have you covered.
Our smart locks offer multiple convenient unlocking methods. Depending on the model, you can unlock via a digital PIN code on the touchscreen/keypad, with a fingerprint scan, through a mobile app on your smartphone, or with a traditional physical key. The locks store fingerprints and codes that you set, allowing family members or trusted guests to access without keys. The smartphone app lets you manage access (for example, you might generate temporary codes for visitors). Despite the advanced technology, using these locks is straightforward – you can still use the two backup keys included if you ever need to. It’s a flexible system combining security with convenience.
Yes. Our locks are robust enough for exterior entry doors and elegant enough for interior doors. For front doors or exterior use, we recommend using a keyed lock or smart lock (which all have deadbolt-style security or locking mechanisms) to secure your home. These locks are made from hardened zinc alloy or stainless steel parts, giving them strength and weather resistance for outdoor use. At the same time, the designs and finishes are attractive for indoor use (bedrooms, offices, etc.). You can use the same style of lock throughout your home for a consistent look and feel.
Every lock set comes with two standard keys. If you purchase a lock and a deadbolt combo set, the set will also include two keys (and in most cases the deadbolt and knob/lever in that combo are keyed alike to use the same key). For our smart electronic locks, we include two backup keys as well, so you can still unlock the door with a key if needed (for example, in case of an electronic failure or forgotten code).
By default, each lock has its own unique keys (keyed differently for security). At this time, locks purchased separately are not automatically keyed alike. However, it is possible to have a locksmith re-key the locks so that they all use the same key if you desire one-key convenience. (Tip: If you need several locks keyed alike, you can also contact our customer service before purchase to see if we offer sets or special ordering options.)
Absolutely. We build our locks with precision-engineered parts for smooth operation. The knobs turn and levers depress without sticking, and the latch engages quietly and securely. The interior mechanisms are lubricated and made of quality metal, so you won’t experience that loose or wobbly feeling that cheaper locks have. Many customers comment on how solid and smooth the locks feel when opening or closing the door, which adds to the overall quality impression.
Yes, our smart locks are prepared for that situation. They are battery-powered (no wiring needed), and they will alert you when the battery is running low (usually through the app or a beep indicator). If the batteries do become fully depleted, you can always use one of the physical backup keys to unlock the door mechanically. Some of our smart locks also feature an emergency power jump-start port – for example, you might be able to briefly power the lock with a standard 9V battery from the outside in order to enter and then replace the batteries. Rest assured, you will not be locked out just because of a dead battery.
The battery life will depend on usage, but on average our smart locks can run for 6 to 12 months on a fresh set of batteries. They typically use 4 AA alkaline batteries (which are easy to replace and commonly available). We design the locks to be energy-efficient – the lock will go into a low-power standby mode when not in use, preserving battery life. The lock or its companion app will notify you well in advance when the batteries are getting low, so you have plenty of time to replace them. Always use high-quality batteries for the best performance and longevity.
No Wi-Fi is required for basic operation. Our smart locks communicate via Bluetooth with the smartphone app for functions like locking/unlocking and managing PIN codes when you are near the door. That means you don’t need to worry about Wi-Fi reliability or paying monthly fees – the lock will work anytime you’re at the door. (Some advanced features like viewing logs or remote unlock from far away may require an optional Wi-Fi gateway accessory, but this is not needed for core functionality.) Out of the box, everything you need to use the smart lock is included, and all features will work locally via the app and keypad.
Yes, all our locks are made to handle typical weather conditions. The exterior parts of the locks are constructed from weather-resistant metal and finishes. For example, our stainless steel and zinc alloy materials won’t rust, and the finish won’t easily fade or peel even with sun, rain, or temperature changes. The electronic components in the smart locks are sealed to protect against moisture and dust (some models have an IP rating for water resistance). We do recommend if a smart lock is used on an unsheltered exterior door that you install the rubber gasket (included) and avoid direct sustained exposure to heavy rain. But overall, these locks are built for outdoor use and will hold up well in any normal climate.
Yes – all our door locks come with a warranty (see the After-Sales section below for details). We stand behind the quality of our products. If you encounter any manufacturing defects or issues under normal use, we will repair or replace the product within the warranty period. Our goal is to ensure you are completely satisfied with the durability and performance of our locks.
Our door hardware combination sets bundle together all the essential hardware you need for a door in one convenient package. A typical combo set for an entry door will include a matching keyed lock (for example, a handle or knob) plus a deadbolt that uses the same key. For interior door combo sets, we might include a privacy knob/lever along with three matching door hinges and even a door stop – so you have everything in the same finish to hang and lock the door. Each set listing will clearly state what’s inside (e.g., 1 privacy lever + 3 hinges + screws + strike plates). All necessary screws and instructions are provided for every component in the set.
Yes. We curate our combination sets so that all components match perfectly. The lock, hinges, and any other included hardware will have the same finish (color/texture) and a complementary design style. For example, if you choose an oil-rubbed bronze combo set, both the lock and the hinges (and other pieces) will be oil-rubbed bronze and of the same design family. This takes the guesswork out of coordinating your door hardware – everything will look unified and aesthetically pleasing once installed.
Yes, if you purchase a combo set that includes a lock and a separate deadbolt (for entry doors), we make sure they are keyed alike for your convenience. You’ll be able to unlock both the doorknob/lever and the deadbolt with the same key. You will receive two identical keys that work for both. This way, you don’t have to carry multiple keys for one door. (For combo sets that are purely interior hardware, like a knob + hinges, keys may not be relevant since interior knobs can be non-locking or use privacy pins.)
One combo set is generally designed to fully outfit one door. For example, an interior door set that includes a knob and three hinges will take care of a single door (three hinges for that door and the knob for the latch). An entry combo with a handle and deadbolt covers the locking hardware for one door (you might pair it with three hinges which are sometimes included or can be purchased separately in a matching finish). The idea is convenience – one set should contain all the main pieces you need for that door. Always double-check the product description to see exactly what’s included, but there’s usually no need to buy extra parts unless you have a special setup.
Definitely. Purchasing a door hardware combo set often gives you a better value than buying each item individually. We price our sets with a discount built-in, so you save money while also ensuring all the hardware matches in finish and style. Additionally, the convenience of getting a pre-matched set means you save time – you don’t have to search for separate pieces and worry about whether the colors will clash or the parts will be compatible. It’s an economical and hassle-free way to upgrade your door.
Yes, our combo sets are just as easy to install as the individual items. Whether you’re installing a knob/lever or hanging hinges, the set comes with straightforward instructions. You would install each component as you normally would: attach the hinges to the door and frame, and install the lock or knob through the pre-drilled holes. No special expertise is required beyond the basic DIY steps for each piece (and we provide guidance for all of them). Many homeowners prefer these sets for DIY projects because you can transform an entire door’s hardware in one go, with all matching parts.
